SEOUL – Hyundai Card is proud to present HYUNDAI CARD CULTURE PROJECT 29 TOM SACHS, running from April 25 to September 7, 2025, at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) Exhibition Hall 1. One of contemporary art’s most innovative figures, Sachs will unveil approximately 200 works in Seoul for the world premiere of his fifth space-themed mission, Space Program: Infinity. A Legacy of Cultural Innovation The HYUNDAI CARD CULTURE PROJECT is Hyundai Card’s premier cultural marketing initiative, dedicated to showcasing groundbreaking and experimental cultural icons across multiple disciplines, including music, theater, fine art, dance, architecture, and film. Since 2011, Hyundai Card has hosted an array of cultural projects, featuring performances by Kraftwerk and exhibitions highlighting the works of renowned artists such as Stanley Kubrick, Tim Burton, and Jean Paul Gaultier. HYUNDAI CARD CULTURE PROJECT 29 TOM SACHS marks the return of the celebrated series after a seven-year hiatus, following The Weeknd’s performance in 2018. Tom Sachs: A Pioneer of Contemporary Art Based in New York City, Tom Sachs is internationally recognized for his intricate bricolage sculptures and immersive, self-contained worlds. Using his signature materials—plywood, foamcore, cardboard, tape, and resin—Sachs reimagines everyday objects and cultural icons, from Mars rovers to teacups, creating unforgettable works of art. His Space Programs offer audiences a visceral, hands-on experience of space exploration while delving into themes of transcendence and self-reflection. A Groundbreaking Exhibition with Exclusive Works Space Program: Infinity will incorporate key elements from Sachs’ previous four space programs, alongside more than a dozen new works. In addition, Hyundai Card will debut exclusive, Sachs-designed merchandise available for the first time at the exhibition, offering visitors a rare chance to take home a piece of this extraordinary artistic endeavor.
